  The fish and chips are EXCELLENT. The service by the old grey haired lady was appalling. She must own the place as its the only way you get away with being so rude and grumpy.we have eaten there a few times but if she is working that day we will drive on by. What a shame, she should consider retiring. Oh and quit charging for extra tartar sauce, it's not gold!

  I have to say I have never left a restaurant without tipping as I am a former waitress but tonight was the first and hopefully the last time I leave without tipping. My husband, my 2 year old and I went out for fish and chips at A's fish and chips and I am absolutely appalled by the older waitress with gray hairs attitude and over all customer service. She was very rude to us when we were ordering and made us feel we had to rush into ordering as we must have been an inconvenience to her. We received our food and it was fantastic! Not once did she come and ask if we were ok or offer water....the table next to us was asked 3 times if they were ok and if they wanted water by her. The table next to us left and she said have a nice day and when we left she gave us a look of disgust and said nothing. It is so sad as we don't get out often and this is how we are treated and what shocked us the most is this is almost the same situation that was written about 3 months ago...clearly they don't care about their customers.

  Nice relaxing restaurant, extremely friendly staff, also noticed place was really clean. Kid friendly The food was amazing, very tasty and plenty! Cute server too!!! Thanks
